"Let us pray. Our heavenly father, we come before you this evening to do the work of the city, to make Fullerton a better place to live, a better place to grow. We ask you that beyond this meeting, give the people of this meeting, especially our city council the strength to carry out their duties, and those in the city themselves to carry out their duties to make this city a great place. We thank you for all the gifts you've given us, and the greatness of this city. We ask this in god's name, Amen.

"Our heavenly father, a special week for citizens of america. It is thanksgiving day week, and we are very thankful for all that we have received over the years and since the founding of our country. Let us be mindful and not forget what this is meant to our ancestors, to us, and to our children. we truely do give thanks for the blessings we have. And we ask you to continue these blessings as we try to be good stewards of our country and of the things that you have tought us. Bless in thy name, amen.
