Ohio to California - Day 2

Mammoth Cave, KY

http://www.nps.gov/maca/
Mammoth Cave has about 350 miles of caves under Kentucky. I took a tour about 1/4 of a mile in. They offer a lot more tours in the summer time, but it was neat having only 5 people in our group instead of the normal 40.

US Space & Rocket Center - Huntsville, AL

Awesome place, they have a Saturn V rocket *vertical*. It towered over the surrounding countryside.
The height of the first rockets that could reach space are barely more than the *width* of the Saturn V first stage.

Pensacola, FL

Unfortunately I went through in the dark, but now I can say I've been to Florida ;)

Mardi Gras - New Orleans, LA

I got to New Orleans at about 10:30 at night which was too late to see the parades. I parked anyway and toured Bourbon Street. Unfortunately I wasn't able to drink anything since I had to drive more later, but it was still fun :)

Stopped for the night in mid Lousiana at about 1:30am with 1337 miles on the car

On to Day 3
