The parking garage at the Hilton was interesting. They apparently wanted to expand, so they gutted a few more floors, torched the support beams, and installed new ramps.
More destruction on the north end of New Orleans, and a brand new drawbridge that wasn't open yet.
On the advice of a friend I took a swamp tour at the Pearl River. The water was clean, there weren't any bugs, and I got to see a small alligator.
Went to the main area for New Years Eve, they had their own ball drop. There was supposed to be live music, but the only performers they had were DJing cd's which didn't interest me at all. So I just wandered around the whole area, going in and out of bars. After the ball drop it took about an hour to walk back to the hotel.
